Wow almost a half of a year of picking fantasy baseball players and it has been a blast! Not a bad record for the inaugural season of the FANFOOD Fantasy Baseball 3 IN/OUT. Next year we hope to get to 100 Hits. We hope that our picks helped you win your fantasy baseball league championship as we did in the FANFOOD weekly Head-to-Head league.

Now it’s time to turn your attention to Fantasy Football (if you haven’t already) and as you know we are helping you determine who to start and who to sit with the FANFOOD Fantasy Football 3 IN/OUT. We are off to a decent start picking more winners than losers.

Smoked Trout Spread

This smoked fish dip is one of my favorite appetizers to make. You will need to smoke the trout for about an hour to get that great smoke flavor into it. Blend it with the remaining ingredients and you’ll have a great dip.

 

INGREDIENTS

 

1 pound smoked trout fillets
1/2 cup sliced celery
1/3 cup sliced green onions
1/3 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup cream cheese
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
PREPARATION

 

Combine smoked trout (broken into small pieces) with other ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Serve chilled with crackers.
