Throughout my many years playing this game, I have come across many websites that specialize in fantasy sports. I saved them all and many of them are included in the

FANFOOD Fantasy Baseball Tools

Each week a different website, twitter feed or mobile application will be highlighted and reviewed for you before you “HIT the LINKS”.

This week I ask you to check out the blog over at CBS Sports.com “Eye on Baseball”. While it is not groundbreaking stuff, It is informative and is another fine place to get the daily scoop on what’s happening in baseball. One of the contributors is Mike Axisa, the founder and lead writer over at River Avenue Blues, a must read for all Yankee Fans. One of two Yankees fans stuck in a family of Mets fans, Mike started writing about baseball as a hobby in early 2006, covering mostly minor league prospects and the draft. He steered towards the Bombers with some help from his grandfather, but it wasn’t until the days of Danny Tartabull and Jim Abbott that casual fandom became an obsession. Trips to the Stadium had more meaning, Old Timer’s Day was the coolest thing in the world, and the emotional roller coaster of 1995 and 1996 were just the start.

Here is the link for you to hit followed by a recipe for grilled breakfast.

Grilled French Toast and Fruit Skewers with Yogurt

After 300 recipes, I realized that we only had one breakfast recipe that you cook outdoors, so here is another.  The flavor that you get by grilling fruit is sweet (pun intended). All you tailgaters on the West Coast should try it seeing that the NFL games start bright and early on Sundays.

INGREDIENTS

8 French Toast Sticks, frozen

1/4 cup melted butter

Assorted fresh fruit (bananas, pineapple, mango, peaches, strawberries)

Greek Vanilla Yogurt

8 wooden skewers

Cinnamon or your favorite spice

PREPARATION

Preheat grill to medium heat

Soak skewers in water while grill is heating

Slice French toast sticks into 3 equal portions

Skewer alternating pieces of French toast and fruit

Brush skewers with melted butter

Grill 3-4 minutes on each side

Serve with yogurt on the side for dipping. Mix cinnamon or your favorite spice into the yogurt.
