FANFOOD 2 for 2 RESULTS week 10

Week 10 was a great one for the FANFOOD 2 for 2.  Out of 4 starts, most of them were quality. Here are the results followed by a great recipe, this time it’s Coffee Chili Rubbed Rib Eye.

Week 10

FANFOOD goes 3 for 4

Season: .736 (28 for 38)

1. C.J. Wilson

C.J. Wilson turned in a dominant outing on Sunday against the White Sox, leading his team to a 4-2 win and improved to 7-5 on the year. The right-hander permitted one run on three hits and two walks while striking out six over 7 1/3 innings of work. In his other start of the week, he had been battling the flu for a few days and was notably under the weather after Tuesday’s loss. Wilson couldn’t complete the third inning, getting yanked after giving up five earned runs on six hits and five walks in 2 2/3 innings to take a loss, but it sounds like his illness played a part in his poor performance. He failed to get through five innings for the first time this season thanks in part to issuing a season-high five walks.

2. Jordan Zimmermann

Jordan Zimmermann (5-2) went the distance on Sunday against the Padres in San Diego, scattering only two hits in nine scoreless innings of a 6-0 victory. He took a perfect game into the sixth inning before finishing with a two-hitter. He struck out a career-high 12 in 114 pitches, 83 for strikes. Zimmermann extended his scoreless streak to 17 innings over his last two starts. He owns a 3.17 ERA, a 1.24 WHIP and 66:14 K:BB ratio over 76 2/3 innings. In his other start of week 10, Zimmermann but was able to right things in his first June start Tuesday, a 7-0 win over the Phillies. Jordan tossed eight shutout innings in his longest outing of the year. He scattered five hits — four singles — and a walk in the eight innings, while striking out four batters and throwing just 102 pitches in the outing.
