Drink of the Weekend – St. Charles Punch

- St. Charles Punch -

 

Named after a fine old New Orleans hotel built in 1896 and a specialty of the hotel bar.

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Tawny Port – 10yr
1 oz Cognac VSOP
2 tsp. superfine sugar
1 oz lemon juice
3-4 raspberries
ΒΌ orange wheel

 

PREPARATION

Put sugar and juice in cocktail shaker and stir.
Add port and Cognac, fill shaker with ice, shake and strain into highball glass full of cracked ice.
Add straw and fruits.
